Government initiative to help UK SME’s
The Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS), a government initiative to help UK small businesses affected by coronavirus, has helped small and medium-sized businesses to access loans and other kinds of finance up to £5 million.
If your business needs help coping with the financial strain of Covid-19, this government-backed scheme should not be overlooked.
You can apply for a CBILS loan if your business is based in the U.K and has an annual turnover of up to £45 million. You will also need to provide evidence that your business would be viable were it not for the pandemic and has been adversely impacted by Covid-19.
The scheme is open until 31 March 2021 so businesses requiring support are urged to act now.
